This page explains what we collect when you use this site, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Who we are
Ubi is a product of DEQL Limited, a company registered in Nigeria. Our registered office is Building C4, Willow Green Estate, Osapa London, Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. When this page says “we” or “us,” it means DEQL Limited.
What we collect
- When you join the list: the email address you enter, the time you submitted it, and where you came from — either a reference code in the link you used, or the name of the website that sent you here.
- When you contact us: your email address and the message you write.
- When you visit: our hosting provider, Netlify, keeps standard server logs — your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Fonts: the typefaces on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser sends its IP address to Google to fetch them.
This site sets no cookies and loads no third-party advertising or tracking scripts.
Why we collect it
To write to you about Ubi’s early access and closely related updates, and to reply to messages you send us. We rely on your consent, which you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time by asking us to remove you.
Where it is stored and who sees it
Submissions are stored with Netlify, our hosting and form provider, and are accessible to the DEQL team. We do not sell your details or share them with anyone else. When we are ready to write to the list, we may move email addresses into an email-sending service; only the address itself goes there.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to remove you, or until we close the list — whichever comes first.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, and the GDPR where it applies to you, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. To do any of these, contact us from the address you signed up with.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
